Joe Biden tries to sit on 'invisible chair' during D-Day memorial event

President Joe Biden commemorated the 80th anniversary of D-Day invasion of Nazi-occupied France with key US allies in Normandy on Thursday by saluting World War II veterans.

Biden, however, made a slight gaffe in the opening remarks of the commemoration as he attempted to sit on a chair and lingered for a few seconds after shaking hands with his French counterpart Emmanual Macron.

The awkward moment led to a series of posts on social media – and a surge in searches asking whether the 81-year-old is ‘pooping.’

We’ll be bringing you the very latest updates, pictures and video on this breaking news story.
