Jake Paul taunts Dana White asking him ‘why you so scared to get embarrassed’ as YouTuber-turned-boxer lays down ultimatum to fight Jorge Masvidal next – and if he loses PROMISES to leave the UFC alone

  • Jake Paul has won all four of his boxing bouts since turning professional last year
  • The 24-year-old’s last two fights have been victorious over former UFC fighters
  • He wants to face Jorge Masvidal next – who is under contract with Dana White

Jake Paul has laid down the gauntlet to Dana White by offering him the chance to never hear from the YouTuber-turned-boxer ever again when it comes his UFC stable.

Paul has been engaged in a longstanding war of words with UFC president White – often calling out the latter’s fighters to face him in a boxing ring, even though they’re under contract with the MMA promotion.

Paul boasts a 4-0 unbeaten record since turning professional last year but is yet to face an actual boxer. However, the 24-year-old’s last two contest have been against former MMA fighters in Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley.

White is dismissive of Paul’s credentials and has called upon him to fight Anderson Silva next. The former long-time UFC middleweight champion is already 2-0 since returning to the boxing ring – and White believes Paul doesn’t want anything to do with Silva.

‘Anderson Silva might actually be the GOAT of combat sports,’ White told reporters in attendance at the UFC Apex following Tuesday’s Dana White’s Contender Series 39 event. ‘It’ll be interesting to see what he does next.

‘I f****** guarantee you this: You ain’t gonna see Jake Paul calling Anderson Silva out. That I f****** promise you. (Silva is) his size, and he’s actually good. He’s old, which is what Jake Paul likes to fight old guys. He likes to fight old guys that are too small and that are absolutely, positively washed up.’

In response, Paul made an ultimatium to White on social media on Wednesday – tagging him personally – asking him to let him fight Jorge Masvidal.

Masvidal is one of White’s premier UFC fighters and Paul says if he beats ‘Gamebred’ in a boxing ring then White must let him face anyone he wants from his promotion. However, if he loses then he will never pester White again.

‘Why you so scared to get embarrassed?’ he asked, tagging White on Twitter.

‘Anderson’s out… JAKE JAKE JAKE..

‘I want your star talent. Your ‘in their prime’ strikers so I can exploit their lack of boxing ability.

‘So let’s do this: Me vs Jorge Masvidal and Amanda Serrano vs Amanda Nunes…

‘If we win, you let any of your fighters fight me going foward. If we lost, I leave you and your exploitive business alone.

‘DANA…DANA…DANA?’

It’ll be interesting to see if White takes the bait or not. The 52-year-old is yet to respond to his rival’s offer.

WBC, WBO, and IBO featherweight boxing champion Serrano, a friend of Paul’s, would face a tough task against Nunes. Nunes is one of the greatest female UFC fighters of all time and is currently a double world champion.

Meanwhile, Masvidal would certainly prove Paul’s biggest challenge yet – with the 36-year-old still very much active at the top end of the UFC.
