PHILADELPHIA EAGLES fans are driving Emmitt Smith up the wall.
The Eagles are still on cloud nine following their history-stopping Super Bowl 59 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, which stopped Andy Reid‘s side from becoming the first team to win three straight Vince Lombardi trophies.

Philly fans, understandably, are still basking in the glow of winning only their second Super Bowl.
But their joy is starting to grate on Smith, who has also been irked by his former side – the Dallas Cowboys – being out of Super Bowl contention for nearly THIRTY YEARS.
During an appearance on The Sweet Spot, the NFL’s all-time leading rusher raged: “I’m sick of it.
“I’m sick of it for two reasons: One, we have allowed others to come and nitpick at the star and make fun of the star.
“And that’s what happens when you give other people, or other organizations — now all of a sudden over the last 20 years they win two Super Bowls and think they’re the best thing on the doggone planet.
“And everywhere I go I hear, ‘Go Birds.’ I’m sick of hearing, ‘Go Birds.’
“I’m always asking, ‘Where are you going? You still got a long way to go to get to us.’
“That part bugs me. It bugs me because in my heart I truly believe our organization should be contending for an NFC championship and even a Super Bowl at least once or twice every decade.

“Because every team recycles every decade. So, for us not to be there over the last 30 years is a crying shame.”
Former Cowboys star Smith has every right to be frustrated by the franchise’s Super Bowl drought.
Jerry Jones’ boys haven’t won the biggest game in American football since the 1995-96 season.
And to make matters worse, they haven’t reached the NFC Championship game in that same period of time..
Cowboys Head Coach Brian Schottenheimer will hope to land some roster-improving talent in next week’s 2025 NFL Draft.
The Cowboys have the 12th overall pick but are understood to be contemplating trading down to acquire additional assets.
