The veteran BBC interviewer admitted to feeling homesick on ITV. Mr Neil told the programme he was eager to return to the UK as coronavirus restrictions on international travel have seen him forced to remain in the South of France. Asked on This Morning he was looking forward to holidaying abroad this summer, the broadcaster begrudged that face that foreign travel was not going to come back “as quickly as we think.”
He added: “I will let you in on a secret, they don’t cost that.
“Someone is making a ton of money out of this.
“And it is still far top expensive and if you have got three or four kids to take them on holiday.
“The risk is that the cost of the testing is going to be as high as the airfare.”
