Tilt the plant out of its current pot, grasping it near the base. Don’t pull too hard, as you can pull the leaves off.
Scrap off any old soil at the roots with a knife. Be careful not to damage the roots. Place a few scoops of soil in the new pot, then place your plant inside. Add more scoops until it reaches the rim.
Finish the process by watering it thoroughly so the soil is moist. Make sure to add enough, but not too much that will rot the roots.
