Finally, fruit and vegetables should always be stored in the bottom drawer of your fridge.
Don’t store them in the same drawer as your meat (an eighth of Brits do this!), keep them in the closed-off drawer next to it to prevent moisture from escaping.
Most fresh fruit such as berries, grapes, apples and mangos will last longer in the fridge in their original packaging.
Vegetables should be stored towards the bottom of the fridge too if they need to be refrigerated.
However, you should ideally store them in a different drawer to the fruit.
Make sure these vegetables are stored in their own plastic bags or containers to keep them crisp.
