How to get free Covid tests for your holidays to Spain, Greece and Cyprus

BEFORE you start buying Covid tests to go on your next holiday, who you book with could mean you don’t have to pay for them.

On The Beach has extended their Free Covid Test offer to include all trips to Spain, Greece and Cyprus – saving some families hundreds of pounds.

The current rules mean all Brits returning to the UK must have a PCR test on day two of being back in the country, which can cost up to £100 per person.

While these rules are soon to hopefully change – with the PCR test being replaced with a cheaper lateral flow test – families could see a bill up to £400 extra on holidays if travelling before this is replaced.

On The Beach was the first tour operator to cover the costs of the tests, and they have since extended it to more countries until the end of the month.

The deal is available on all holidays until October 2022, giving you a year to take advantage of it.

You need to book by the end of the month, with the deal ending on October 31, 2022.

The free tests will be via Collinson, a government-approved supplier, and arrive up to 48 hours before departure

Holidays include mainland Spain and both the Balearics and the Canaries, mainland Greece and the islands, and Cyprus.

Greece, Spain and Cyprus do not require tests or quarantines from Brits if they are fully vaccinated.

Brits only need to fill out an entry form for each country, to prove vaccination status, along with showing proof of both jabs.

As well as the free tests, On The Beach has discounted holidays to winter sun sports, as well as an extra 25 per cent of breaks to Cyprus and Tenerife.

We’ve rounded up some of the best holiday deals to take advantage of right now which start from £322pp
