Top tips for removing moss, weed and stains from your patio
To get rid of moss from your patio, you should use a stiff broom to sweep the moss off the joints and pavers. A smaller scrub brush would be ideal in tight corners and smaller areas.
Sweep or blow all the debris from the surface and dispose of it, after which most of the moss should be gone.
If you still see some evidence of moss lingering, however, fear not as there’s a way to tackle that too.
Mix a 10-15 percent solution of bleach and water in a bucket, pour over the affected areas and agitate it with a stiff broom.
In some cases, you may have to use a hard bristle brush in the joints – but be careful not to disturb any of the joint sand. Rinse the entire area with fresh water and let it dry.
