Holly Willoughby would be dream SAS: Who Dares Wins star, she’s got a bit of mettle about her, reveals Jason ‘Foxy’ Fox

THE SAS: Who Dares Wins boys are back to test the mettle of a new troop of recruits, but show original Jason Fox is holding out for one particular candidate.

The former Royal Marine, known as Foxy, is keen to see Holly Willoughby join the celebrity version of the military adventure show.

Jason says he would love to get Holly Willoughby to take the challenges on

Chatting before the new series begins on Sunday, Foxy said: “I’d really like to see Holly Willoughby, I think she’s got a bit of mettle.

“She seems to have a bit of grit about her, and doesn’t take life too seriously.

“But Phillip Schofield.. I don’t think he would f*cking do it.”

Foxy, 45, is joined once more by ex-SAS Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham plus two new American recruits; former Navy Seal Remi Adeleke and the new chief instructor, ex-Marine Rudy Reyes.

The civilians will line up for their beasting this weekend, with the celebrity version of the Channel 4 programme to follow later in the year.

Foxy went on: “Piers Morgan would be good, he seems to be an expert on everything, so it would be great to have him on.

“He talks shit on the odd occasion, but also talks sense on other occasions.”

“Any of the daytime TV guys would be good, I think it would be more of a shock to the system, which means it would be more fun for us!

“Dermot O’Leary would be good, Ben Shephard would also do well, but he’s got a fucked back, I think.

“How about Jeremy Kyle? He’s fallen off his perch, hasn’t he? He could have an opportunity to come back to TV, see if he can handle getting shouted at.”

Billy added: “I’d love to get Gordon Ramsay on there. I think he’d probably do alright.

“Piers Morgan I’d like to get on there too.”

It might not be the easiest ride for any stars who sign up in future, though.

Rudy, who has replaced axed star Ant Middleton, seems to have a low opinion of the industry adding: “A lot of these people in the media really don’t know about honour or respect. They definitely don’t know about sacrifice.

“The whole thing is built on a platform of narcissism.”

The challenge show returns with its toughest training course yet, against the backdrop of the Jordanian desert.

The initial 21 recruits are sent on an intense journey to their base through searing heat in the first episode.

Once they have made it back to safety, their ability to work as a team is tested when they cross a ravine by balancing on a rope suspended 165 feet above the ground.

Then they will have to keep their head while being gassed in a chamber.
