Tottenham forward Harry Kane picked up a knock during his side’s Europa League clash with Dinamo Zagreb which forced Jose Mourinho into withdrawing the striker from action. Kane placed a large bag of ice on the affected area immediately after being removed from the pitch.
The injury comes as a concern for Spurs, especially ahead of this weekend’s north London derby.
Kane scored once in each half as Spurs led their first-leg last-16 clash 2-0.
The England international was in fine form and looked a real threat throughout the entire match.
However, there are concerns over the 27-year-old’s fitness after he was replaced by Carlos Vinicius with six minutes to go after taking a knock.
Kane was captured sat on the bench with a large ice pack on his leg – although that was removed after the full-time whistle.
Mourinho will be hoping the injury is not serious as Spurs take on Arsenal in the north London derby on Sunday.
