Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones fedora hat sells for whopping amount at auction

It’s one of the most iconic hats in popular culture and the signature symbol of Harrison Ford’s Indiana Jones.

Of course, over the five movies there have been a few fedoras worn on screen by the star’s archaeologist adventurer.

But this one in particular is from 1984’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

According to Propstore, the hat was the highest value sale at auction yesterday, which included other incredible memorabilia including Russell Crowe’s sword from Gladiator ($75,000) and Captain America’s shield from Civil War ($63,000).

The second biggest sell of the auction was Michael Keaton’s Batwing from 1989’s Batman, which sold for $406,250.

However, the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom fedora sold for a whopping $630,000. The hat was screen and photo-matched to Ford and was also worn by his stuntman Dean Ferrandini.

The star last played the character on the big screen in last year’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, while a new theme park ride has been announced for Disney World’s Animal Kingdom in Florida.
