Hairdressers 'not set to open until late April' – Boris Johnson to set out roadmap

It’s understood senior sources have said there is still “some time to go” until the beauty industry will be able to reopen, The Sun reports.

Due to the close-contact between hairstylists and their clients, it could be late April before hairdressers can resume.

For other treatments, such as waxing and pedicures, “where contact is inherent”, the wait could be even longer.

The Prime Minister’s blueprint out of lockdown in England is reportedly going to cover five stages over five months.
