Gabby Petito’s dad Joseph shares ‘angel’ picture of his daughter saying she ‘touched the world’ after body found

GABBY Petito’s dad shared a photo of his daughter to Instagram on Sunday after the FBI announced a body found is believed to be her.

The photo, posted Sunday, features Gabby in front of a mural of angel wings, and the caption “she touched the world” with a broken heart emoji.

Joseph Petito shared the photo of his daughter following an announcement from the FBI regarding the body found in Grand Teton

Joe Petito had earlier posted several photos of his daughter with the caption “Please help bring Gabby home safe.”

And he had previously issued multiple calls for help in the wake of his daughter’s disappearance.

An FBI spokesperson asked for the public to send Gabby’s family their thoughts as they “mourn the loss” of their daughter.

Joe lives in Vero Beach, Florida, where he had moved to be closer to his daughter, according to the Daily Mail.

“[It’s like] drowning with your hands tied behind you,” Petito’s dad said of Gabby’s disappearance. “You can’t describe it. There’s nothing you can do. You can’t control anything.”

Joe said that the family wouldn’t stop looking for Gabby until she was found.

Joseph said he didn’t want to share his thoughts on his daughter’s partner Brian Laundrie.

He remains missing after returning home from the couple’s trip alone.

Not much is known about Laundrie. According to his Instagram bio, he is a “nature enthusiast,” and his most recent pictures are from his cross-country travels.

His Instagram account also indicates that he is an artist as he has multiple pictures posted related to printmaking art.

Before her disappearance, Laundrie and Petito were working on documenting their journey on YouTube under the name “Nomadic Statik.”

Laundrie made headlines after he was reported missing on Friday, September 17, the same day his sister Cassie’s interview aired on ABC.

Gabby had been reported missing by her family just days earlier after Brian returned home from their trip alone.
