The different Moon phases have different impacts on our moods, thoughts and feelings. There’s about one Full Moon in a calendar month, and this time it’s in Libra. Express.co.uk chatted to Kirsty Gallagher, Moon Mentor and author of Lunar Living: Working with the Magic of The Moon Cycles, to find out what the Libra Full Moon means for you.
In February, the Full Moon of the month was in Virgo, and we were encouraged to start planning the steps towards our dreams.
Following the Virgo Full Moon, the Pisces New Moon came along to make space for new beginnings.
Now, we have a Libra Full Moon to bring us some balance, self-understanding and love.
Here’s what the Libra Full Moon means for you, according to Moon Mentor Kirsty Gallagher.

Full Moon March horoscope
The Libra Full Moon is the first Full Moon in the new astrological year.
Kirsty explained: “We entered a new astrological year as the sun moves into Aries on the Spring Equinox, March 20.
“A new zodiac wheel has started, opening up a brand-new chapter and new beginning.
“This Libra Full Moon comes before the Aries New Moon on April 12, and it’s time to set our lunar intentions for the astrological year ahead.”
The Full Moon will illuminate everything that is important and encourage you to “open up space for these new beginnings and new parts of you that need to emerge.”
The combination of Venus and Chiron and the Full Moon will be intense.
Kirsty said: “As Venus travels with the sun between March 23 and 30, you may find Venus themes rising within you – especially those that need healing as Chiron shows you where your deep wounds lie.
“This may mean you find you are doubting yourself, hiding or shrinking, finding yourself struggling to ask for what you need or looking outside yourself for love, approval or validation.”
In the days leading up to the Full Moon, Kirsty recommends spending some time with the vulnerable, insecure and scared parts of yourself.
She said: “This Full Moon is going to help you to find the balance between who you were and whom you are now becoming.
“It will also help you to let go of the parts of you that are no longer serving you or your evolution.”
We all have our hang-ups, traumas, and things that hold us back, and this Full Moon is your chance to banish them for good.
Kirsty said: “Under this Moon, you are going to be given the opportunity to heal from and release what keeps you out of balance.
“You can finally release all that you no longer need to keep carrying around with you, believing in, playing out or repeating so that you can create the space for the new to come in.”
While astrology often seems out of our control, this Full Moon will help you to realise where you keep repeating cycles and allowing your life to remain out of balance.
Use the Full Moon to figure out what needs healing and what needs to be released from the scales of your life.
Make space for the new beginnings that are coming with the Aries New Moon on April 12.
