Part of the Chester Road in Manchester is closed after the smash, which happened this morning. Two cars, including the Ferrari, are believed to have been involved.
Dramatic photos show the Ferrari, severely damaged, on the dual-carriageway. It’s pictured beside debris strewn all over the road.
Manchester Evening News reports another silver vehicle was damaged in the collision.
It is unclear as yet if there were any injuries and, if so, to what extent.
But police officers remain at the scene and a police vehicle is blocking access to the carriageway.
It is expected to remain closed for some time.
In a tweet, Transport for Greater Manchester said: “A56 Chester Road, City Centre. Road is closed traveling westbound at Deansgate Interchange
“Approach with caution.”
Greater Manchester Police and the North West Ambulance Service have been contacted for more information.
