Euston station ‘blocked’ – Emergency alert as station ‘crowded, noisy and confused'

With the London train station set to close over the Easter bank holiday weekend, social media users have flagged Euston is “crowded, noisy and confused”.

One user, @silverDjack, claimed an emergency was “alerted” at Euston station at 2:51pm on Thursday.

Another user, Mark Amies, said: “Euston is not a good place to be right now.

“Entrance to Underground blocked- no explanation for it. Crowded, noisy and confused.”

Express.co.uk has contacted Network Rail for more information.

It comes as Euston will close over the Easter holiday weekend, meaning disruption for thousands of passengers.

The station is the sixth busiest in Britain and the busiest passenger route in the UK.

It will close to all passengers from just after midnight on Good Friday until 5am on Tuesday

Euston will be closed for track and signal upgrades between London Euston and Milton Keynes including at Watford Junction, which means no trains on the West Coast mainline going south from Milton Keynes.
