A group of England players including Declan Rice and Jordan Henderson partied into the early hours of Wednesday morning after drawing with Belgium at Wembley. Jude Bellingham’s late leveller ensured the spoils were shared in a 2-2 stalemate as the Three Lions missed out on victory for the second game in a row.
After the match, several players went to the Chiltern Firehouse in London to party with James Corden and were not spotted leaving the venue until the early hours of Wednesday morning. Corden, a West Ham supporter, was said to have organised the night out to celebrate Rice’s landmark 50th cap for England.
Pop star Harry Styles was also at the venue alongside the likes of Corden, Rice, Henderson, Bellingham and James Maddison. A source inside the Chiltern Firehouse said the England players enjoyed a ‘relaxed and boozy’ night sitting at a table booked by Corden.
The group were not pictured leaving the private members’ club until after 4am, around six hours after the final whistle blew at Wembley. The game saw England snatch a dramatic draw in their final outing of the international break just days after losing to Brazil in another friendly.
England were dominant for much of the contest but found themselves behind at the break, with Ivan Toney’s penalty sandwiched between two goals from Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans. The hosts were eventually rewarded for their persistence when Bellingham struck from close range to level the scores with virtually the last kick of the game.
