How does Lady Gaga follow up a best actress Oscar nomination? By hanging out with a sweater-clad Adam Driver in Italy, apparently.
The pop superstar shared the first look at “House of Gucci,” her first acting project since 2018’s “A Star Is Born,” on her Instagram Tuesday. Directed by Ridley Scott and now filming in Europe, “Gucci” (scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 24) digs into Italian socialite Patrizia Reggiani’s orchestration in the 1990s to assassinate her ex-husband, and head of the Gucci fashion house, Maurizio Gucci.
But the dark criminal underpinnings of the film are mostly absent from Gaga’s picture, though. Gaga, 34, who plays Reggiani, is shown with a bunch of bling and fashionable winter headwear while a smiling Driver, 37, as Gucci, is almost unrecognizable in glasses and a chunky sweater.

It’s an all-star team-up of two recently lauded thespians. Gaga not only garnered a best actress Oscar nomination but won best original song for “Shallow” from “A Star is Born,” while Driver was up for supporting actor for “BlacKkKlansman” in 2019 and lead actor last year for “Marriage Story.”
“House of Gucci” also stars Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Camille Cottin, Jack Huston and Reeve Carney.
Scott and Driver’s other collaboration is also due this fall. The historical drama “The Last Duel,” starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, arrives in theaters Oct. 15.
