Kate Garraway and Derek Draper’s children Darcey, 15, and Billy, 11, have candidly spoken on their dad’s battle with coronavirus in the family’s documentary Finding Derek.
The GMB presenter’s two kids shared their fears that they could lose him their hopes for him to come “back”.
Darcey said: “I’ve not really thought the worse, I’ve always said he’s going to get better, he’s going to get back – all of this stuff.
“They say that we’ve heard rumours he will get back, hopefully, before the end of next year but we really don’t know at all.”
