DALLAS COWBOYS star Dak Prescott is excited for the start of 2025 – after a huge offseason of change in Arlington.
The Cowboys have moved on from head coach Mike McCarthy and replaced him with Brian Schottenheimer.

Prescott, 31, endured a tough 2024 season after suffering a serious injury to his right hamstring.
He put up career lows across his 8 NFL games, throwing for just 1,978 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Prescott signed four-year contract extension worth $240 million before the start of the 2024 season.
And he can’t wait to get back on the field after Schottenheimer was promoted from offensive coordinator to head coach.
“Just excitement,” Prescott said, when asked how he feels about 2025.
“I’ve know Schotty. He’s been there the last three years, first year being a consultant.
“There’s not any monumental conversations that needed to happen.
“His direction and the way he sees this offense going, the way he sees this team, it’s clear the men he’s hired as coaches.
“ He’s got this whole building on the same page.
“Just excited for this chapter under him.“
The Cowboys opted to part with Prescott’s backup Cooper Rush as they tweak their roster ahead of the NFL Draft on April 24.
Prescott hared a heartwarming message to a former teammate who left America’s Team to join the Baltimore Ravens.
Rush signed a two-year contract with the Ravens worth up to $12.2 million.
He leaves Dallas after a nearly eight-year stint with the Cowboys.
Rush had served as Prescott’s backup and started eight games in the 2024 season.

After the news was announced, Prescott posted an emotional message on Instagram.
“Thank you brother [heart emoji],” Prescott captioned his own message.
The Cowboys’ miserable 2024 was an outlier after three winning seasons of 12-5 in a row.
But they have not made it past the Divisional round of the playoffs since winning the Super Bowl in 1995.
Joe Milton III will act as Prescott’s backup after his trade from the New England Patriots earlier this month.
Earlier in free agency, the Cowboys targeted Jacoby Brissett, per ESPN, but he signed with the Arizona Cardinals.
