A Connecticut man wanted for questioning in the shooting death of a 27-year-old Bridgeport mom was himself found dead on Tuesday.
An unresponsive female victim was discovered lying in a street by police who were alerted to shots being fired on Central Avenue in Bridgeport around 8 p.m. Monday, according to News 12 Connecticut.
But when investigators from the Stratford Police Department tried to question Ricardo C. Robinson on Tuesday morning in connection to the shooting, they reportedly found him dead too.
Stratford police said the 28-year-old died by suicide, according to Hartford Fox affiliate WTIC.
Police in both Connecticut towns are now asking the public to come forward with information.
There are no other suspects involved in the shooting death of the unidentified woman. Police believe she knew her killer and referred to the incident as a “violent domestic assault.”
