Which areas have vaccinated the most people with two doses?
According to data compiled by NHS England, the South West of England has vaccinated the highest percent of its population with two doses of the vaccine so far.
Based on population size determined by 2011 Census data, the South West had fully vaccinated 75.07 percent.
The East of England had the second-highest number of second dose vaccinations, followed by the North East and Yorkshire – with 74.72 and 71.56 percent of each population, respectively.
Conversely, London had the lowest percent of its population vaccinated with both doses, compared with all other areas of England.
London had vaccinated 63.6 percent of its population with a second vaccine dose by September 12.
In percentage terms, the North West was second to last with 64.08 percent and the Midlands was third to last with 67.38 percent.
The South-East had fully vaccinated 69.98 percent of its population as of September 12.
