Another popular spot is the village of Polperro, near Looe in southeastern Cornwall.
The large village with a population of around 1,500 has seen a 203 percent increase in searches.
Emma Ward, Director at Goundrys Estate Agents in Cornwall said it’s been an “incredibly busy” year in the county.
She added: “Some are moving here to be closer to family while others are looking for a complete change in lifestyle.
“Detached homes, which are around the £500,000-£700,000 mark here, have been flying off the shelves, we’ve none left.
