Connecticut man charged with producing child porn, including his own ‘explicit conduct with a toddler’

A 53-year-old Connecticut man has been charged with sharing and producing child sex abuse images, including photos showing his own alleged “explicit conduct with a toddler.”

An investigation that began in March determined Ross DeLibro, of Shelton, Conn., downloaded and shared images depicting child sex abuse over a peer-to-peer file sharing network, Connecticut State Police said Wednesday.

State investigators and Homeland Security seized the suspect’s devices in May and arrested him last month.

“Analysis of the seized items revealed image and video files depicting male children being sexually abused, including two images in which DeLibro appears engaging in sexually explicit conduct with a toddler,” police said.

DeLibro has remained in police custody since his arrest.

The production of child pornography carries a minimum prison sentence of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years.

DeLibro has not entered a plea.
