Clint Eastwood’s longtime partner Christina Sandera dead at 61

Clint Eastwood is mourning the death of his partner of 10 years, Christina Sandera, who the Oscar winner confirmed died on Thursday at the age of 61.

“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” the 94-year-old Hollywood heavyweight said in a statement. No cause of death was given.

Eastwood and Sandera, a former hotel staffer, had reportedly been together since 2014 after meeting while she worked as a hostess at Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant, a property Eastwood owns in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Calif.

Sandera was often spotted with Eastwood on the red carpet of the Academy Awards when films he produced or directed in were nominated for prizes. They otherwise kept a relatively low profile in the small coastal town, for which Eastwood served as mayor for two years in the mid-1980s.

Prior to his relationship with Sandera, the “Dirty Harry” was married to model Maggie Johnson from 1953 to 1984. From 1996 to 2014, he was married to news anchor Dina Ruiz.

The father of eight’s other long-term relationships include dancer-actress Roxanne Tunis, actress Sondra Locke, flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves and “Resurrection” star Frances Fisher.
