Russell Kane took home £25,000 for charity Rethink[/caption]

Comedian Russell Kane went head to head with the Chasers on Saturday night’s instalment.

Presenter Bradley Walsh, 61, asked Russell how he was feeling before taking on the quizmasters.

“Oh, I’ve been on the Imodium since last Wednesday thinking about coming here,” Russell cheekily replied.

Jenny’s slip up allowed award winning comedian Russell to bag a whopping £25,000 for charity Rethink.

Asked which of Elon Musk’s many firms are on an ambitious mission to colonise Mars, she replied Tesla, which was wrong.

The redhead Chaser was mistaken – Tesla is the entrepreneurs electric and driverless vehicle business.

The correct answer was SpaceX, the company was founded in 2002 to revolutionize space technology.

Musk oversees the development of rockets and spacecraft for missions to Earth orbit and ultimately to other planets.

Jenny realised that she had made a huge error and immediately said “sorry” to the other Chasers.

Jenny’s mistake cost them the game – but it wasn’t all bad news as Russell was able to walk away with £25,000 for charity.

Fans of the show were amazed that Jenny, who has appeared on Mastermind, would get such a simple question wrong.

One wrote: “How the f*** did they screw that up?”

Another posted: “”Darragh’s b**** face when Jenny said Tesla.”

A third added: “Ooh that was a dirty look Anne just gave Jenny then!”

Unlike The Chase, Beat the Chasers will see contestants take on up to five all at once.

In the Cash Builder round, the contestants will face five multiple-choice questions and have the chance to bank up to £5,000.

But, if they get the first question wrong – they’re out.

The contestants will then be given the option of playing between two to all five Chasers.

The higher number of Chasers they go against at once, the more money is up for grabs.

But, the more of them they play against, the quicker the time decreases.
