Bake Off viewers all have the same complaint about Lizzie after biscuit week

GREAT British Bake Off viewers were stunned as Lizzie revealed that she didn’t know what a fluted cutter.

The 28-year-old was left puzzled over the mental pastry cutter and said that she had no idea what one was.

Her confession baffled fans who questioned how she didn’t know what the popular baking tool was[/caption]

For the first challenge, the bakers had to make 24 brandy snaps with their own unique flavour.

The car production operative decided to make hers taste like her favourite fast-food chain’s apple pie.

Viewers were baffled that Lizzie had managed to make it onto the Channel 4 show without knowing what the popular baking tool is.

One wrote: “How have you made it to the tent without knowing what a fluted cutter is???? #GBBO”

Another wrote: “Can’t quite imagine having baked enough to get on bake-off without having encountered the fluted cutter? #GBBO”

“Sorry how are you gonna be one of the best amateur bakers in the country and not know which cutter is the fluted one? #GBBO,” a third posted.

Despite some issues with her Jammy Dodger’s in the technical challenge, Lizzie impressed in the extravagant biscuit showstopper that represented a car inspired childhood toy.

Meanwhile, last night’s episode forced fans to complain as they were hit by technical problems.

“What’s going on with sound on the voice over tonight. Really annoying can barely hear it! #bakeoff #GBBO,” tweeted one.

Another said: “What’s going on with the sound?! No acknowledgement of it whatsoever… so weird”

“Why does the sound on #BakeOff sound like Matt and Noel are hiding behind the tele and talking in creepy semi whispers?! Make it stop,” a third added.

A fourth commented: “@Channel4 what’s going on with the sound on @BritishBakeOff? The voice over parts sound really strange #BakeOff #GBBO #GreatBritishBakeOff.”

The issue is the result of a fire at a TV studio on Saturday which has caused problems for streaming service All4 as well as other Channel 4-run channels.

Jurgen bagged Star Baker for a second week running after creating an impressive gingerbread windmill.

Unfortunately Jairzeno was eliminated, but he took it in his stride, saying: “I was half expecting that result because when you look at my Showstopper compared to everyone else’s, it really was quite basic.”
