Martin Odegaard admits Arsenal’s All or Nothing documentary is ‘NOT my favourite thing’, with Amazon filming behind-the-scenes footage of their embarrassing slump to rock bottom of the Premier League

Martin Odegaard has lifted the lid on his thoughts about Arsenal’s All or Nothing documentary on Amazon Prime.

The new signing, who spent last season on loan at the Emirates, admitted that having cameras following the team’s every move isn’t his ‘favourite thing’.

Arsenal’s media chief Mark Gonnella claimed the fly-on-the wall documentary will provide fans with behind-the-scenes access and a ‘unique insight’ into the Gunners’ 2021-22 campaign.

However, Arsenal’s campaign so far will make for unpleasant viewing for supporters after the north London side endured their worst start to a season in 67 years.

The Gunners have suffered defeats in their three opening games of the Premier League, including a 5-0 mauling by champions Manchester City.

Mikel Arteta’s side have sunk to rock bottom of the table after failing to score a single goal, despite splashing out around £150million this summer, including £30m on Odegaard.

At a press conference on Tuesday, Odegaard opened up on his reservations about the documentary, saying: ‘I must admit that it’s not my favourite thing to have cameras everywhere.

‘You automatically think a bit more about what you are saying when there are cameras there, but the crew is discreet.’

Arsenal are the third Premier League side to feature in the docuseries after Man City and Tottenham.

Gunners boss Arteta was a member of the City staff when the cameras followed Pep Guardiola’s team on their way to the Premier League title.

Odegaard also opened up on the treatment he received from the Spanish media during his time at Real Madrid

The Spaniard revealed he was not consulted on the Arsenal documentary but claimed he will facilitate the filming as much as possible.

‘I experienced it a few years ago when I was at Man City and we are going to help as much as possible, for everybody to see what this club means and how things are done at the football club,’ Arteta told Goal.

Odegaard joined Arsenal this summer from LaLiga giants Real Madrid and the 22-year-old spoke about the treatment he received from the Spanish press during his stint at the Bernabeu.

‘Absolutely everything that has been reported about me in Spanish media is wrong,’ he said.

‘I am so happy to be back in Arsenal. I loved it here from the first day I came in January.

‘I wanted stability. I wanted to settle down somewhere with a lot of good players who want to establish the club back in the top, with a good manager. That’s why I think Arsenal is pretty perfect for me.’
